Mini Golf is developed and published by Crafted Echo, a sole proprietorship based in Canada. This policy explains how the Mini Golf Android application handles information. It applies to the app only; the craftedecho.dev website is covered by a separate website privacy policy.
None. Mini Golf does not collect, transmit, sell, share or otherwise process any personal data. Specifically, the app does not collect:
The app is built and exported with no Android permissions
requested at all, including no INTERNET permission.
It has no network capability, so there is no server for your data to be
sent to and no ability for it to be sent.
So that the game remembers your table between sessions, Mini Golf writes a small number of files to its own private storage area on your device:
These files never leave the device. They live in the app’s private sandbox, which other applications cannot read. Nothing in them is sent to Crafted Echo or to anyone else, and we have no way to see them — there is no course sharing, upload or sync feature.
Because the names are free text you type in yourself, you are welcome to use nicknames or initials. The app does not care what you put there and never validates it against anything.
There are none. Mini Golf contains no advertising network, no analytics or measurement library, no crash reporting service, no social media integration and no third-party software development kits of any kind. Nothing in the app profiles you or builds an audience segment from your behaviour.
Mini Golf is a family sports game and is suitable for children. Since the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children either. We do not knowingly or unknowingly gather personal information from users of any age, which means there is nothing to disclose under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Canada’s PIPEDA, or equivalent regimes elsewhere.
Data protection law gives you rights of access, correction, erasure and portability over personal data a company holds about you. Crafted Echo holds no personal data about Mini Golf users, so there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, export or erase on request.
To delete the information stored locally on your device, either clear the app’s storage from your device settings (Settings → Apps → Mini Golf → Storage → Clear storage) or uninstall the app. Both remove the roster, rules, settings and any courses you built, permanently. No copy exists anywhere else, so export anything you want to keep first.
Mini Golf is distributed through Google Play. Google collects its own information about downloads, installations and payments under Google’s Privacy Policy, which is outside our control and not covered by this document. We receive only the aggregate, anonymous statistics Google shows every developer in the Play Console — for example how many installs an app has — and never information identifying an individual user.
If a future version of Mini Golf ever handles data differently — for example if course sharing or online play were added — this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date at the top will change. Material changes will be described in the app’s release notes on Google Play.
